Impression of a rural scene, "By An Indiana Cornfield ~ The Road Home" ~ inspired by a friend's photograph and the music of a wonderful Indiana bluegrass band called "Cornfields and Crossroads" (check them out!).

Artist Member, Nickel Plate Arts. I live in Noblesville, Indiana. I've always loved art; as a child, I was diagnosed with an incurable lung disease, therefore physical limitations challenge my life. I'm self-taught, and I was Juried into the Hamilton County Artists' Association (in both 2D and Photography categories). I started selling artwork locally in 2013; prior to that, I taught Anthropology at the college level and was in an Applied Linguistics PhD program until my disabilities worsened with chronic heart failure.
