"Sunset With Galway Hookers" ~ heavily textured piece. This one is part of my Recycled Materials series; the "canvas" is made from treated thick cardboard and back-framed with old fence wood. I used a lot of texture medium to create the variations and undulations of sky and water, then with an additional application of texture, I created created the sailboats (a particular type of Irish sailboat that have unique reddish-orange sails, called "Galway Hookers").

I'm self-taught, and I was Juried into the Hamilton County Artists' Association (in both 2D and Photography categories).
